pipelines.py ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at pipelinesdotpy.com. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Information you provide directly: When you sign up to receive a cheat sheet or join the PyPath waitlist, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. We use this information solely to deliver the requested content and send you future episode cheat sheets and product updates related to pipelines.py.

Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 collects data such as pages visited, time spent on pages, general geographic region, and device type. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual visitors through GA4.

Cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: deliver the cheat sheet or content you requested; send you new episode cheat sheets as they are released; notify you about PyPath when it launches; and understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Email Communications

By submitting your email address on this site, you agree to receive emails from pipelines.py related to Python education content and pipelines.py products. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option.

4. Data Storage

Email signups are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to pipelines.py. We do not store payment information — any future transactions will be handled entirely by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe).

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at pipelines.py@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your data, and to opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal data.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent, given when you submit your email address. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us directly.
